Lewiswood Farm is an agricultural farm located on 80 acres of southern pines and hardwoods, owned by the Lewis Family since the 1990s. Primarily a wildlife habitat, tree farm and firewood operation, we have recently begun offering Lewiswood Farm on a limited basis to host events. John, one of twelve children, was raised in Woodville on a farm and Debra was raised nearby on a plantation. So the country life is all they have ever known! As the owner of Lewis Land Clearing for over 30 years, John has always been involved in every aspect of wood usage, recycling many of the beautiful trees he removed in his business via the family sawmill. For many years, John sawed lumber for his dream of building a “big barn" one day on Lewiswood Farm. He preserved virgin loblolly and longleaf pines for the massive beams and posts of the 3720 s.f. barn. It took many years of sawmilling, but the result is breathtaking! There is not one stick of “store bought” lumber in the barn; every piece was milled by John. So, you can see why he is very proud to share his legacy with you! It is truly a one-of-a-kind barn!
