Membership Requirements

To join the Tallahassee Association of Wedding Professionals (TAWP), applicants, whether individuals or businesses, must meet the following criteria:

  • Interest in Wedding Industry: The business or individual should demonstrate a genuine interest in upholding the ethical standards and effectiveness of the wedding industry.

  • Legal Requirements: The business must possess all necessary licenses, insurance, and certifications as required by law to conduct their operations.

  • Minimum Business Duration: Businesses must have been in operation for at least 12 months.

  • Sponsorship: The applicant must be sponsored by 2 existing TAWP members, who will confirm for the applicant's suitability for membership.

  • Completed Application: The applicant must complete the Membership application provided by TAWP.

Click the link below to fill out your application. Be sure to have 2 sponsors and a copy of your Local Business License, Federal Tax ID Number, and Sales Tax ID.

Once your application is submitted, the board will review for completion and then send it to all members for consideration.  This process can take 2-4 weeks.

The board of directors will review any information provided by our membership and on a quarterly basis will vote on new member applications. You can expect someone to be in touch with you as soon as the vote is completed.

Ready to apply?

Submitting a completed and signed application does not guarantee automatic membership in TAWP. By signing this application, each applicant releases the Association and Board of Directors, and Officers from any claims or liability related to the application, interpretation, or enforcement of the application denial procedure.
